The fifth column calculates the percent of hospitals that are receiving penalties, and the sixth column shows what the average penalty is of those that are getting fined.
Please note: The penalties do not apply to Maryland hospitals, as that state has a unique reimbursement arrangement with Medicare, and thus Maryland is not included in this table.
